Sunday Services

9am & 11am

Each Sunday, we meet near the intersection of Van Nuys and Sherman Way, in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, to worship Jesus, hear his Word, and respond in prayer.

Wednesday Night Prayer Service at 7pm

We're expressive in our worship and biblical in our teaching. Expect everything from suits and ties to skinny jeans and Toms. You're welcome to bring your latte, but please leave your pets at home (service dogs welcome).

For kids, including nursery through elementary, meet during all services in the Kids Building - just south of the main sanctuary. For more information about our Youth Group, click here.

Nursery - Elementary

Through engaging worship, exciting storytelling, crazy games, and interactive small groups, our kids will come to know God, to grow in that knowledge, and to go into the world as Spirit-filled disciples. Whether you've got a newborn baby, a toddler, or a child in elementary school, we've got a place for them to belong.

We Are

We’re a multicultural, multigenerational church, made up of people from neighborhoods all over Los Angeles. Born out of a prayer meeting in 1926, we've been around for a while, and with that solid foundation, we continue to seek God's Spirit for renewal - in our community, in our city, and in our world.

  • Focused on Jesus

A guy named Peter once said about Jesus, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." His miraculous birth, his sinless life, his passionate death, and his victorious resurrection make him one of a kind.

  • Responding in worship

We worship Jesus because he alone is worthy. Humble as a lamb and powerful as a lion, he died yet he is risen. When we think about what he has done for us, we can't help but sing our songs, raise our hands, and give our whole lives to follow him.

  • About The Word

God doesn't always speak with thunder and lightning. In fact, God often speaks in a still, small voice. That's why, when we come to the Scriptures (aka the Bible), we come with reverence and a listening ear. God's got something to say - from the past, to the present. And as we get to know God's voice through Scripture, we become more attuned to God's voice today.

  • Praying

If we listen with reverence, we respond with boldness. As daughters and sons, we share our hearts with our heavenly Father who cares for us. In our community, it's not uncommon to see lives re-born, hearts mended, bodies healed, and stories re-told, all through God's power at work through prayer.

  • Passionate for God's Spirit

Life is hard, and we don't think we can do it on our own. That's where God's Spirit helps us. The Holy Spirit, who is bearing with all of creation until all things are made new, keeps us, comforts us, and empowers us to walk in the fullness of God's life.

  • On a Mission

The church isn't a location with an address; it's a family on mission. We come together to be equipped and sent out, making disciples of every nation, in our city and around our world.
